We are a zero industrial waste to landfill company!
In the eight countries where the company operates, we challenge ourselves to innovate in this area, and when it comes to waste management, we seek valorization solutions across the entire region.
Beyond intentions, we believe in validated management. 78% of plants certified by Icontec’s Zero Waste Management System. Our goal is to certify 100% of our plants by 2028.
We achieved our goal of reducing water use by 50% by 2025 in industrial processes!
This was achieved thanks to the implementation of processes focused on excellence management for the care of water supply. Our company does not consume water; it uses it. This means that once water is used, it is treated to be returned to natural waterways or public service and sewerage systems.
Emissions
One of our most challenging goals is to reduce our generation of Greenhouse Gases by 50%, scopes 1 and 2, compared to the 2018 baseline. Although we have made progress, we still have 10% left to achieve.
FSC
We manage natural resources responsibly: 100% of our tissue plants have FSC chain-of-custody certification. Ensuring that our products come from protected and responsibly managed forests, something necessary to Care for the Future Today.
We increased the proportion of women by 50%
We have pink lines, teams made up entirely of women. This initiative is already operating in Brazil and Mexico. It stands out for its operational efficiency and commitment to excellence.
